“Legend of Sword-Kunchiku”

Many customers have been asking if we could make old-fashioned soot Shinai. We were trying to make it with materials which customers sent us, however the oil of bamboo decreased and became easy to break because it was too dry. We realized it would be too dangerous to use it. We did, however try our best to meet our customer's request. Even though it took a long time, we did not give up and finally we successfully made soot Shinai. It had no problems with being fragile, and has now become our masterpiece.

The Legend of Sword "Light Smoked" series, this Shinai series is very different from a general Shinai. This Shinai is well smoked for a period of 2 ~ 4 days where it becomes very firm and well balanced. The short smoking period gives the shinai a lighter color.

Legend of Sword "Well Smoked", this Well Smoked Shinai is smoked with longer smoking time. The color is dark brown. This shinai is excellent for displays and definately receive attention when used during training.
